'Covid-19' - Movie Quarantine

The deliberately spread 'Covid-19' virus continues to surge, with Hollywood studios frantically rearranging their spring and early summer theatrical movie release dates, including multi-million dollar blockbusters "No Time To Die", "Black Widow", "Morbius" and a whole lot more:

Feature films affected with changing release dates include Paramount’s "Top Gun: Maverick", MGM's "No Time To Die", Disney's "Black Widow", Universal's "Fast & Furious: F9" and "Minions: The Rise of Guru', Sony's "Morbius", plus Warner Bros "The Many Saints of Newark" and "Godzilla vs Kong".

"The reality is that the many of the very same market forces are still in play and will continue to inform the strategic decisions of studios and creatives alike", said Paul Dergarabedian of Comscore, the media measurement and analytics company.

"That said, there is hope for a recovery for the theatrical movie biz on the horizon...

"...but of course that future is in constant flux".
