Emily Bett Rickards: “Queen of the Ring”

 “Queen of the Ring” is the new live-action ‘wrestling’ sports drama feature, written and directed by Ash Avildsen, chronicling the life of ‘Mildred Burke’, starring Emily Bett Rickards (“Arrow”) as ‘Millie’, with Josh Lucas, Kelli Berglund and Walton Goggins (“The Shield”), releasing March 7, 2025 in theaters:

“ As  ‘Queen of the Ring’, Burke's heyday lasted from the mid-1930’s to the mid-1950’s , when she held the ‘NWA World Women's Champion’ for almost twenty years. 

“Burke started out in 1935, wrestling men at carnivals. 

“She was eventually managed by her second husband, promoter ‘Billy Wolfe’ and became a .charter member of ‘WWE Hall of Fame's Legacy Wing’, ‘Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame’, ‘Women's Wrestling Hall of Fame’ and the ‘Wrestling Observer Newsletter Hall of Fame’…”
