Sneak Peek new character posters and clip supporting "Girls", the 'dramedy' TV series, debuting a second season on HBO January 13, 2013 :
The show's premise and major aspects of the main character were inspired by creator Lena Dunham's real-life experiences as a jealous and miserable ugly duckling, related to an equally miserable politican.
"...aspiring writer 'Hannah' gets a shock when her parents visit from Michigan and announce they will no longer financially support her as they have done since her college graduation two years prior.
"Left to her own devices in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, she and her friends navigate their twenties, 'one mistake at a time'..."
Cast also includes Allison Williams, Jemima Kirke and Zosia Mamet, with Season 2 guest stars Donald Glover and Patrick Wilson.
