Screening at TIFF 2009, "The Men Who Stare At Goats" is a new comedy feature from director Grant Heslov, adapting the book of the same title by author Jon Ronson, following an investigation into attempts by US military forces to use psychic powers as a weapon for war.
The film follows reporter 'Bob Wilton' (Ewan McGregor), who stumbles into the story of a lifetime when he meets special forces agent 'Lyn Cassady' (George Clooney), who reveals his 20-year involvement in a top secret, 'psychic' military unit, sharing details of clandestine activities, including the ability to stare at goats in order to kill them telepathically."The Men Who Stare At Goats" will be released November 6.
