Oscar winning screenwriter Diablo "Juno" Cody will next adapt the young adult "Sweet Valley High" book series for producers Mason Novick, Adam Siegel and Marc Platt.
Created by author Francine Pascal, who presided over a team of ghostwriters for the duration of the 152-book series, "Sweet Valley High" was set in the sleepy town of 'Sweet Valley', following identical twin teenagers 'Jessica' and 'Elizabeth Wakefield'.
An 88-episode TV series aired in the 1990's.
