Marvel’s “Iron Man” - $3.87 Million

Illustrator Don Heck's original art ‘splash page’ from the Marvel Comics’ title “Tales of Suspense” #39 (1963) recently sold for a record  $3.875 million (USD) at Heritage's Comic Art Signature Auction July 10-12, 2026, depicting the first appearance of Marvel Comics' ‘Iron Man’:
