Lena Headey: "The Edit"

"Game Of Thrones" actress Lena Headey, aka 'Cersei Lannister' poses for "Net-A-Porter" magazine "The Edit", photographed by Stefano Galuzzi:

Headey worked as a film actress in small and supporting roles throughout the 1990's, before finding fame in big-budget films including "The Brothers Grimm" (2005), "300" (2007) and "The Red Baron" (2008).

Her best known role to date is 'Cersei Lannister' in HBO's 'Game of Thrones', earning Heady three consecutive Emmy award nominations for 'Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series'.

She is also noted for playing 'Sarah Connor' in the 'Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" TV series and as drug lord 'Ma-Ma Madrigal" in the feature "Dredd".

In 2017, Heady became one of the highest paid actors on TV, earning $2 million per episode for "Game of Thrones".

"But I hate being looked at," said Heady.

"Can't stand it. I know, I know - I picked the wrong career. I should have been a doctor. If you play certain parts you have this nice face painted on you, and then you have feel as if you have a responsibility to this idea of being beautiful. I hate that about our business...but I don't think you should feel guilty about pleasure. Defeats the purpose...
