Previously acquired by SyFy Films, Hulu will now adapt the 22-book sci-fi superhero anthology "Wild Cards", edited by George R.R. Martin, ("Game of Thrones") from a consortium of contributing science fiction writers:
"...the characters of 'Wild Cards' were developed with the goal of creating a realistic take on people with super powers...
"The series was conceived as a 'shared universe' in which different authors contributed new characters and storylines to the overall mythos..."
The books have been translated into several languages and adapted into comic books and role-playing games.
