Sneak Peek an official synopsis revealing the next "Captain America" feature "Captain America: Civil War", currently shooting under the direction of Joe and Anthony Russo, featuring an all-star line-up of Marvel superheroes :

The new film returns Chris Evans as 'Steve Rogers'/'Captain America' along with Robert Downey Jr. as 'Tony Stark'/'Iron Man', Scarlett Johansson as 'Natasha Romanoff'/'Black Widow', Sebastian Stan as 'Bucky Barnes'/'Winter Soldier', Anthony Mackie as 'Sam Wilson'/'Falcon', Paul Bettany as 'The Vision', Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton/Hawkeye, Don Cheadle as 'Jim Rhodes'/'War Machine' and Elizabeth Olsen as 'Wanda Maximoff'/'Scarlet Witch'.

After his debut in Marvel's 'Ant-Man', July 17, 2015, Paul Rudd will make his first appearance alongside the 'Avengers' as 'Scott Lang'/'Ant-Man' in 'Captain America: Civil War'.

The film also includes Chadwick Boseman as 'T'Challa'/'Black Panther', Emily VanCamp as 'Sharon Carter'/'Agent 13', Frank Grillo as 'Brock Rumlow'/'Crossbones' and William Hurt as 'General Ross'.

"...'Captain America: Civil War' picks up where 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' left off, as 'Steve Rogers' leads the new team of 'Avengers' in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity.

"After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team.

"The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain..."

"...after being introduced in 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier', actress Emily VanCamp will reprise her role of 'S.H.I.E.L.D.' agent 'Sharon Carter', aka 'Agent 13'...

"...also the niece of 'Peggy Carter', from the WW2 era..."

"...Sharon is a trained athlete and martial artist, highly trained in the ways of espionage, weapons, firearms and computers..."

"The new element in this film," said Joe Russo, "is that 'Captain America' and 'Iron Man' get into a fight with each other."

With the working production title Sputnik", the new film is based on the 2006–2007 Marvel Comics' crossover, built around a seven-issue limited series written by Mark Millar ("Kick-Ass") and illustrated by Steve McNiven, also running through other titles published by Marvel at the time.

The plot follows conflicting reactions to the government passing a 'Superhero Registration Act'  designed to have 'superhumans' fall under official regulation.

Those opposed to the act, led by 'Captain America', find themselves in conflict with those in support of the act, led by a delusional 'Iron Man'.

The events of the comic book series touch upon themes of common sense, liberty, moral responsibility and civil order, with good-intentioned superheroes finding themselves on different sides.
