The sequel to the 2012 feature "Marvel's The Avengers", the new film is the eleventh installment in the 'Marvel Cinematic Universe'.
Scripted and directed by Whedon, cast also includes Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson.
Also starring are Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen and James Spader.
