"The Amazing Spider-Man 2" Updates

According to 'The Daily Bugle', a 'viral' website established by Columbia/Sony to promote "The Amazing Spider-Man 2", the new movie sequel will have more Marvel Comics villains alongside ''Electro' (Jamie Foxx), 'Rhino' (Paul Giamatti) and 'Green Goblin' (Dane DeHaan) :

From 'The Daily Bugle' : "...with reports of Russian mob activity at an all-time high in the city, many have wondered who these men are and what they are trying to accomplish. New Yorkers are no strangers to organized crime, but this time it seems different. Gregarious, boastful men fill the Brighton beach night scene - every single one of them with a spectacular guttural baritone voice that makes one wonder if there are any gangster tenors.

"Mob activity is the suspected cause of a spike in crime across all five boroughs. Not content with hijacking retails goods, sports betting, or drugs, more crime families have become involved in high-tech crimes such as the theft of microchips, processors, experimental metal alloys and advanced weaponry.

"'Fancy Dan Brito' said during his arraignment for the recent Brighton Beach shootout, "Everything has a price. Including the head of so-called superheroes..."

Fancy Dan Brito, quoted in the Bugle report, is a well-established member of 'The Enforcers', a team of villains in the Marvel Comics universe.

The characters were created by writer-editor Stan Lee and illustrator, co-plotter Steve Ditko, debuting in Marvel Comics "The Amazing Spider-Man" #10 (March 1964).

A group of hired assassins and extortionists, 'The Enforcers' each have an expertise in a different unique area of combat, whose goal it is to aid various employers in the takeover of New York City's criminal gangs.

Besides 'Daniel Brito' (aka 'Fancy Dan'), a diminutive martial artist, with proficiency in judo, karate, and fancy footwork, the other Enforcers include 'Raymond Bloch' (aka 'Ox'), a brute strongman, 'Jackson Brice' (aka 'Montana'), an expert lasso-wielder, 'Sylvester Marston' (aka 'Snake Marston'), and 'Willard Harrison', (aka 'Hammer Harrison'), an expert boxer who wore steel gloves.
