"Avengers: Age Of Ultron" Origins

Sneak Peek footage from "Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes", showcasing the villain 'Ultron', who will be the main protagonist of the Marvel Studios' sequel, "Avengers: Age Of Ultron".

'Ultron' debuted as the 'Crimson Cowl' in Marvel Comics "Avengers" #54, created by writer Roy Thomas and illustrator John Buscema,  before being revealed as 'Ultron-5', the living automaton.

The character is also known as the creator of the 'synthezoid' known as the 'Vision', tasked to destroy the 'Avengers'. The Vision, however, destroys Ultron with the aid of the Avengers.

However, this was not the end of Ultron, for his disembodied consciousness was thrown into the depths of space, floating through the cosmos as radio-waves and energy.

Powers include superhuman levels of strength, speed, stamina and durability, flight at subsonic speeds, concussive blasts of energy fired from its optical sensors and hands, and an 'encephalo-ray', that can place victims into a deathlike coma.

Ultron's outer armor is composed of 'adamantium', almost completely impervious to damage.
