Oni Press has revealed that the NBC TV pilot adapting the supernatural, action comic book series "The Sixth Gun" by Cullen Bunn and Brian Hurt, starts shooting March 18, 2013.
Laura Ramsey ("The Ruins") will play female lead 'Becky Montcrief', alongside W. Earl Brown as 'General Hume', Graham McTavish as 'Silas Hedgepeth' and Aldis Hodge as 'Agent Mercer'.
"The Sixth Gun" pilot, written by Ryan Condal will be directed by Jeffrey Reiner and produced by Carlton Cuse.Director is Jeffrer Reiner, working from a script by Ryan Condal for producer Carlton Cuse :
"...during the darkest days of the Civil War, wicked cutthroats came into possession of six pistols of otherworldly power. In time, the 'Sixth Gun', the most dangerous of the weapons, vanished. When the gun surfaces in the hands of an innocent girl, dark forces reawaken. Vile men thought long dead set their sights on retrieving the gun.
