According to reports, Fox International Channels and Image Comics' imprint Circle of Confusion will partner with "The Walking Dead" creator Robert Kirkman, to develop a new supernatural dramatic TV series.
Just as Kirkman grabbed 'zombie' ideas from director George A. Romero's "Night Of The Living Dead" (1968), his new comic book and TV series will grab 'possession' ideas from director William Friedkin's "The Exorcist" (1973), complete with ultra-violence, contorted bodies and projectile vomiting:
"...'Kyle Barnes' has been plagued by possession since he was a child. Now an adult, he embarks on a spiritual journey to find answers, but what he uncovers could mean the end of life on Earth as we know it..."
