Sneak Peek actor Ray Winstone ("Sexy Beast") as police detective 'Jack Regan' in the new feature "The Sweeney", based on the 1975 UK TV series of the same name.
The new film is directed by Nick Love from a script by Love and John Hodge, based on characters created by Ian Kennedy Martin.
Cast also includes Ben Drew as Regan's partner 'George Carter', Damian Lewis ("Band Of Brothers"), Hayley Atwell and Steven Mackintosh.
The original "Sweeney" focused on two members of the 'Flying Squad', a branch of the Metropolitan Police specializing in tackling armed robbery and violent crime in London.
