From Namco Bandai Games and Paramount Pictures, Sneak Peek the new Gamescom trailer for "Star Trek" The Game casting players as 'Kirk' and 'Spock' in the new canon of director, producer J.J. Abrams' "Star Trek" feature film reboot.
Currently in development with Ontario-based Digital Extremes ("BioShock 2"), "Star Trek" features an original story by BAFTA award winner Marianne Krawczyk, in collaboration with "Star Trek" movie writer/producers Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman and Damon Lindelof :
"...a legendary lizard-like race, known as 'The Gorn' play a destructive and villainous role in the game, with 'Captain James T. Kirk' and 'Mr. Spock' working together to stop the Gorn.
"More than just lizard-skinned foes, the Gorn are a blood-thirsty race and military dictatorship, made up of billions of self-sacrificing warriors across thousands of colonies, each focused on the conquest of other alien races, seeding mayhem and destruction as they destroy populations, depleting planets of their resources..."
