Actress Rachel Bilson ("The O.C.") and European fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld have teamed for a series of 3 short films, directed by Lagerfeld, promoting the premium brand "Magnum" ice cream.
The first film, titled "Photo Mood", features Bilson as a fashion model who finds pleasure in the form of a smooth Magnum ice cream bar, with model Baptiste Giabiconi as an annoyed photographer.
The next 2 films to be released, are "Art Class" and "Applause". "Applause" stars Bilson as a world-renowned prima ballerina who escapes a throng of fans and amorous boyfriend (Giabiconi), to enjoy a moment, by herself, savoring a Magnum bar.
"Art Class" features Bilson as a student, who creates a beautiful work of art, inspired by Magnum.
"Karl Lagerfeld’s creative vision has always inspired me," said Bilson, "and this series brings his concept of pleasure to life"."My character believes that a day without pleasure is a day lost, and that’s a perfect representation of the 'Magnum' lifestyle – and my personal philosophy, too".
