Sneak Peek new key art supporting the upcoming animated TV series "Ultimate Spider-Man", developed for television by Steven T. Seagle, Joe Kelly, Joe Casey, and Duncan Rouleau.
Based on Marvel Comics "Ultimate Spider-Man" storyline, the series will be aired over Disney XD beginning Fall 2011, chronicling the adventures of teenage 'Peter Parker' and his attempts at dealing with his new abilities and new supervillains arriving in the city.
"'Ultimate Spider-Man' will be a unique journey exploring our favorite web-slinger as he teams up with other fan favorite Marvel Super Heroes in never before seen stories", said Eric S. Rollman, President of Marvel Animation.
"As the series begins, 'Peter Parker' has been 'Spider-Man' for just one year. He has saved lives and fought supervillains, but he is still in the process of learning how to be a superhero, until 'Nick Fury' offers Peter the chance to train to be a real superhero and become 'The Ultimate Spider-Man'."
Voice cast includes J. K. Simmons as 'J. Jonah Jameson', Vincent Martella as 'Spider-Man'/'Peter Parker', Cindy Robinson as 'Mary Jane Watson' and Colleen O'Shaughnessey as 'Wasp'/'Janet Van Dyne'/'Gwen Stacy'.
