"Transformers: Dark Of The Moon" @ New York's United Nations

Without fanfare, director Michael Bay's upcoming feature "Transformers 3", aka "Transformers: Dark Of The Moon" has been quietly filming scenes at the New York City headquarters of the United Nations, specifically in the 'General Assembly Hall'.

Written by Ehren Kruger, "Transformers: Dark Of The Moon" stars Shia LaBeouf as 'Sam Witwicky', Rosie Huntington-Whiteley as 'Carly', Tyrese Gibson as 'Robert Epps',
Hugo Weaving as the voice of 'Megatron', Josh Duhamel as 'Major William Lennox', John Malkovich, Patrick Dempsey, Frances McDormand and John Turturro.

Produced by Bay and Steven Spielberg, the DreamWorks feature is the sequel to "Transformers" and "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen".

"...'The Autobots', led by 'Optimus Prime', are back in action, taking on the evil 'Decepticons', who are determined to avenge their defeat, becoming involved in a perilous space race between the US and Russia, with human 'Sam Witwicky' again coming to the aid of his robot friends..."

New film characters will include the villain 'Shockwave', who rules 'Cybertron' while the Autobots and Decepticons battle it out on Earth.

"Transformers: Dark Of The Moon" is scheduled for release July 1, 2011 in Real D 3D and IMAX 3D.
