European/Canadian Producers Meeting @ TIFF

According to TorontoFilm.Net, "The Producers Lab Toronto", will be held Sept. 10-12, as a Toronto Film Festival (TIFF) initiative to connect European with Canadian film producers, leading towards international co-productions.

The three-day event will involve pitching sessions, round-table meetings and case studies, allowing European and Canadian producers to meet and discuss mutual opportunities.

Created by European Film Promotion in association with the Ontario Media Development Corporation (OMDC) and the Toronto Film Festival, as well as backing by the European Union’s MEDIA International Programme, the Lab will host 24 selected producers from Europe and Canada.

Organizers will be looking at participants with established track records in project development, as well as experience in international co-production.
