"Streamy Awards" Go Live April 11, 2010

The International Academy of Web Television has revealed their 'Streamy Award' nominees.
With 34 categories, the Streamy Awards honor drama, comedy, news and animation, with founding organization 'IAWTV', a consortium of digital entertainment companies recognizing excellence in original online episodic programming.

Action adventures "The Bannen Way" and "The Guild" lead the nominations, followed by the comedy "Easy to Assemble".

Winners will be broadcast live online April 11 from Hollywood.

Nominated actors include Lisa Kudrow, Illeana Douglas, Justine Bateman, Felicia Day, Robert Englund, Eric Balfour, Nathan Fillion, Courteney Cox, Wil Wheaton and "Weird Al" Yankovic.

Showtime was nominated for its 'companion' web series for "Dexter" and "Weeds", competing alongside entries from NBC's "The Office," CBS' "Harpers Island" mini-series and Montreal's Ubisoft video game "Assassin's Creed"...
