BBC's "Virtual Revolution"

The UK's BBC 2 will air "The Virtual Revolution", a multi-part documentary about the internet, starting January 30, featuring interviews with all the movers and shakers of the new era, including Sir Tim Berners-Lee (the MIT engineer 'behind the web'), Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, Wikipedia’s Jimmy Wales, Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, Al Gore, Bill Gates, Steve Wozniak and Stephen Fry:

The BBC solicited ideas across the web 'community' for the title of the series, finally settling on the word 'virtual', after receiving title ideas including "Virtual Beginnings", "Yours Virtually" and "Virtual Insanity".

"What we've got is a mash-up, " said the BBC.

"Part original, part group inspired creation - "The Virtual Revolution".
