Actress Blake Lively ("Gossip Girl"), will play 'Carol Ferris', love interest of test pilot 'Hal Jordan' aka 'Green Lantern' (Ryan Reynolds) in Warners upcoming live-action feature "Green Lantern" based on the DC Comics character.
The big budget comic book movie starts shooting in March from a screenplay by Greg Berlanti and Marc Guggenheim with rewrites by Michael Goldenberg.
Lively starred in 55 episodes of "Gossip Girl" as 'Serena van der Woodsen' from 2007 to 2009. She also appeared in "The Private Lives of Pippa Lee".
