Actress Angelina Jolie has reportedly been 'removed' from her job as the face of fashion brand "St. John" knits.
"She overshadowed the brand," said St. John CEO Glenn McMahon. "We wanted to make a clean break from actresses...cleanse the palette."
"We needed to show a modern point of view of St. John...we have evolved."
What all this probably means is that Jolie is perceived as being 'too old' for the company's fashion brand at the age of 35, following recent moves by ladies purse icon Louis Vuitton, dropping 51-year old Madonna after their last campaign promoting vintage-looking bags. (?!)
