Canadian actress Odessa Rae will appear as the DC Comics villainess 'Siobhan McDougal', aka the 'Silver Banshee', on the Vancouver-lensed "Smallville" TV series.
In the episode "Escape", The Silver Banshee is a 'vengeful spirit' of a fallen Gaelic heroine accidentally released from the underworld, who unleashes her powers at a quiet country bed and breakfast inn, where 'Lois' (Erica Durance) and 'Clark' (Tom Welling) are staying.The Silver Bansheee joins other DC Comic book super heroes and villains appearing on the small screen, as the series proves to be the ideal 'showcase' for launching comic book characters into live-action.
