"(500) Days of Summer" is the upcoming romantic comedy, directed by Marc "Seascape" Webb, starring actors Joseph "G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra" Gordon-Levitt and Zooey "Yes Man" Deschanel, their second pairing since the 2001 feature "Manic".
Premise follows the relationship between 'Summer' (Deschanel), who doesn't believe in true love and ' Tom' (Gordon-Levitt), a hopeless romantic who falls in love with her. Over 500 days, the film progesses in a non-linear fashion from Tom's perspective, who goes from ecstatic giddiness to crippling depression.
The feature showcases two songs ("Us" and "Hero") by Regina Spektor and "Sweet Disposition" by Melbourne-band "The Temper Trap".
"(500) Days Of Summer" will be in limited release by Fox Searchlight, starting July 17, 2009...
