February 13 to March 2, 2009, Gallery Nucleus in Alhambra, California will present "Drew Struzan: An Artist’s Vision", hosting an Opening Reception for the artist, Friday February 13, from 7-11 pm.

Struzan noted as a master in the field of cinema art, with original paintings in the private collections of both George Lucas and Steven Spielberg.

With over thirty years experience and more than 150 movie campaigns, Struzan's credits include modern classics like "Indiana Jones", "Back to the Future", "Harry Potter", "Star Wars", "Blade Runner", "E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial" and "The Thing".

After graduating from the US Art Center College of Design, Struzan gained his reputation in the 1970’s by illustrating rock album covers including Alice Cooper’s “Welcome to my Nightmare,” voted one of the top album covers of all time by Rolling Stone Magazine.

In the following years, Struzan developed his famous style of 'one-sheet' movie poster art for the "Star Wars" films.

In 1982 he began a solo career, with exhibitions at the Norman Rockwell Museum alongside iconic American artists Maxfield Parrish and J.C. Leyendecker.
