Moretz, who starred as 'Hit-Girl', at the age of 12, in the comic book movie "Kick-Ass" (2010), is 29 years old now.
She began acting as a child, with early roles in “The Amityville Horror” (2005), TV drama series “Desperate Housewives” (2006–2007), horror film “The Eye” (2008), the drama feature “The Poker House” (2008), romantic comedy “500 Days of Summer” (2009) and children's comedy “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” (2010).
Her breakthrough came in 2010 with her performance as ‘Hit-Girl’ in the superhero film “Kick-Ass”.
Moretz then starred in Martin Scorsese's “Hugo” (2011), Tim Burton's “Dark Shadows” (2012) and TV sitcom “30 Rock” (2011–2013). She reprised her role as ‘Hit-Girl’ in “Kick-Ass 2” (2013) and portrayed ‘Carrie White’ in the horror feature “Carrie” (2013).
In 2014, Moretz starred in the drama “Clouds of Sils Maria” and the action film “The Equalizer”. She also starred in the thriller “Dark Places” (2015), the science fiction action film “The 5th Wave” (2016) and the comedy “Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising” (2016).
Moretz' other noted roles include the drama “The Miseducation of Cameron Post” (2018) and Neil Jordan's “Greta” (2018). In 2020, she starred in the supernatural war movie “Shadow in The Cloud”.
She voiced ‘Wednesday Addams’ in CGI-animated feature “The Addams Family” (2019) and “The Addams Family 2” (2021).
