Actor Michael "The Shield" Chiklis, has signed with IDW Publishing to develop the graphic novel series "Olympus, based on an idea by Anny Simon Beck, with plans to develop the property for film, television and games through his Extravaganza Productions.
Premise of the comic book tells the story of ancient Greek gods returning to a present-day earth to battle for the future of mankind.
"As a kid, I was always fascinated by the Greek gods," said Chiklis. "so the chance to bring my childhood heroes and villains to life in the modern world is irresistible. Besides, I couldn't say no to Zeus..."
