Twentieth Century Fox has signed Joe "Narc" Carnahan to direct a Ridley Scott-produced update of creator Stephen J. Cannell's TV series "The A-Team".
Tony "Domino" Scott will executive produce through the brothers Scott Free banner. Also producing are Jules Daly and Cannell.Carnahan will work wih writer Brian Bloom to polish a script by Skip "G.I. Joe" Woods, with Fox targeting a June start in Vancouver, aiming for a June 11, 2010 release.
Carnahan and the Scott brothers say they will use the original premise of the series as the template for an action film.
