Tele Muenchen Hooks "Moby Dick"...

Germany’s Tele Muenchen Gruppe will produce an English-language adaptation of author Herman Melville’s public domain novel "Moby Dick", with production on the 2-part mini-series scheduled to shoot next year along the coast of Nantucket.

This is TMG's second adaptation of an American sea adventure, following their take on author Jack London's "The Sea Wolf"” starring actors Tim "The Incredible Hulk" Roth and Canadian Neve "Wild Things" Campbell.

Producer for "Moby Dick" is Rikolt von Gagern from a script by Emmy-nominated writer Nigel "Elizabeth I" Williams and Mike "Butterfly On A Wheel" Barker, who will also direct.

Robert Halmi’s RHI Ent. and London-based Power Corp. will co-produce, on a budget reportedly north of $16 million...
