The ABC Network has handed out a TV pilot commitment to "Fables", based on the 2002 DC Vertigo comic book series created by Bill Willingham.
Premise follows characters from fairy tales/folklore living in exile in modern-day New York, featuring the 'Big Bad Wolf' and 'Snow White'.Set in an hour-long format, the script adaptation, by writers Stu Zicherman and Rven Metzner, will allow any fairy tale character to show up in any one episode.
