Film producer Gale Anne Hurd's Valhalla Motion Pictures has closed a deal for the movie rights to "Gearhead", adapting the Dennis Hopeless/Kevin Mellon graphic novel published by Arcana Comics.
Premise of "Gearhead", follows a woman who teams up with a group of rebels to fight corrupt superheroes who govern the United States.
"We are excited to bring Gearhead to life," said Hurd.
"It's a terrific character-driven story set in a unique and compelling world."
Hurd is noted for the Marvel's Toronto-shot "Incredible Hulk" and the upcoming Montreal-lensed "Punisher: War Zone"...
