Production is currently underway in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on "Trailer Park Boys 2", a sequel to the popular 2006 feature, noted as "the greasiest movie of the year", based on the hit Canadian Showcase TV series.Distributor Alliance Films made the announcement, with plans to release the comedy Fall 2009.
Series creator Mike Clattenburg co-wrote the new screenplay with TPB actors John Paul 'Julian' Tremblay, Robb 'Ricky' Wells and Mike 'Bubbles' Smith.
Premise of the sequel, starts with the trio newly released from jail, when they encounter a meaner, leaner 'Sunnyvale Trailer Park' Supervisior.
Clattenburg co-produces with Barrie Dunn and Michael Volpe.
