Johnston Claps For "The Wolfman"...

Director Joe "Hidalgo" Johnston will helm Universal's $100 million re-make of "The Wolfman", on course to begin production in London in March.

Benicio Del Toro has long been attached to play 'Larry Talbot', with Anthony Hopkins to play his father and Emily Blunt the female lead.

Andrew Kevin Walker wrote the script for producers Scott Stuber and Mary Parent.

The new film will follow the storyline of Universal's 1941 original, focusing on a troubled man who returns from the US to his ancestral home in Victorian-era Great Britain, only to be cursed by the bite of a werewolf...
