Director Eduardo Rodriguez is set to adapt the Humanoids graphic novel "Fragile" for Rogue Pictures.The comic book by Stephano Raffaele, focuses on an airborne virus that has reduced Earth's population to 'feral zombies'. A recently undead soldier teams up with a female zombie and human teenager, racing against time to find a cure before being hunted down by the soldier's former military unit.
Jeff Dixon adapted the screenplay for producers John Baldecchi, Justin Connolly, Pierre Spengler and Fabrice Giger. Keith Dinielli co-produces.
"'Fragile' gives me the opportunity to explore the horror we're used to in the genre but set in a unique post-apocalyptic world where zombies aren't the monsters anymore," said Rodriguez.
