DreamWorks and Universal Pictures will adapt the graphic novel "Cowboys & Aliens".Producers are Imagine's Brian Grazer/Ron Howard, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci.
Screenplay is by Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby.
Set in 1860's Arizona, a skirmish between cowboys and Apache natives is interrupted by the crash landing of a hostile space ship.
