Pistolero and Cherokee

More details have emerged regarding writer/director Larry Bishop's upcoming motorcycle gang feature "Hell Ride", presented by Quentin Tarantino for Dimension Films.

Described as an homage to 1960's grindhouse biker films, "Hell Ride" is prepping for an April 30 start in Los Angeles.

The story will follow 'Victors' gang member 'Pistolero' (Bishop), his brother the 'Gent' and 'Comanche', as they hit the road to settle the unfinished business of avenging the death of Pistolero’s old lady 'Cherokee Kisum', at the hands of the '666', rival motorcycle gang.

As an actor, Bishop previously appeared in 15 AIP classic biker films including "The Savage Seven", "Chrome and Hot Leather" and "Angel Unchained".

Bishop, Michael Steinberg and Shana Stein will produce.
