“Batman Knightfall” Movie

“Batman Knightfall”, the 1994 DC Comics “Batman” story arc trilogy, written by Doug Moench, Chuck Dixon and Alan Grant, with illustrations by Jim Aparo, including “Knightfall", "Knightquest", and "Knightsend", is being developed as a full length multi-part animated feature, directed by Jeff Wamester, to be released in 2026:

‘…over the course of six months,‘Bruce Wayne’, aka ‘Batman’ suffers burnout and whike systematically crippled by a ‘super steroid’- enhanced genius named ‘Bane’. 

“Bruce is replaced as Batman by an apprentice named ‘Jean-Paul Valley’, aka  ‘Azrael’, who becomes increasingly violent and unstable, tarnishing Batman's reputation. 

“Eventually, Bruce is healed through paranormal means and reclaims his role as Batman…”
