The new live-action horror mystery feature “Weapons”, written and directed by Zach Cregger, was the surprise winner at the weeekend box office, grossing ‘Domestic’ $42,500,000 and ‘International’ $27,500,000 for a worldwide total of $70,000,000 after 3 days in theatrical release:
“…one night, all but one student from the classroom of ‘Justine Gandy', mysteriously ran off into the night.
“Justine and the rest of the community are left questioning who – or what – is behind the disappearance…”
