According to numbers posted by Box Office Mojo, the recent theatrical box office opening gross of DC Studios new comic book movie “Superman”, is compared alongside the opening box office gross of Marvel Studios “The Fantastic Four: First Steps”:

The PG-13 rated comic book movie “Superman" starring David Corenswet as the ‘Man of Steel’, now playing in theaters, grossed ‘Domestic’ $122,000,000 and ‘International’ 95,000,000 for a ‘Worldwide’ box office total of $217,000,000 after 3 days in theatrical release.

“The Fantastic Four: First Steps”PG-13 rated live-action, comic book movie, directed by Matt Shakman, based on Marvel Comics’ “Fantastic Four” by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, now playing in theaters, grossed ‘Domestic’  $118,000,000 and ‘International’ $100,000,000 for a ‘Worldwide’ box office total of $218,000,000 after 3 days in theatrical release.
