Development continues on Patamount’s live-action TV series based on author James Fenimore Cooper's "The Last Of The Mohicans", to be streamed exclusively on HBO Max:

TV Pilot for the series was written by Emmy winner Cary Joji Fukunaga ("True Detective") and Nick Osborne ("All About Steve") with Nicole Kassell ("Watchmen") attached to direct.
"The Last of the Mohicans", later retitled "Hawkeye and the Last of the Mohicans" was a 1957 TV series, running one season of 39 half-hour episodes, starring John Hart and Lon Chaney Jr.
