Directed by Grant Sputore, with a screenplay by Dave Callaham and Michael Lloyd Green, “Godzilla x Kong: Supernova” will star Kaitlyn Dever and Sam Neill, exploring the narrative from Godzilla's perspective, shifting away from the Kong-focused stories of previous films, targeting a 2027 theatrical release:
‘The Monsterverse’, launched by Legendary Pictures, builds on the ‘Godzilla’ and ‘King Kong' cinematic legacies—Godzilla’s franchise began in 1954, inspired by atomic bomb themes, while Kong dates back to 1933—merging them into a shared universe that now spans six films and a 2023 Apple TV+ series, "Monarch: Legacy of Monsters."
