“Voltron” Live-Action

Development continues adapting the animated TV series "Voltron", as a live-action feature, to be directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber ("Red Notice") for exclusive streaming on Prime Video:

Five space explorers pilot a giant 'Super Robot' known as 'Voltron' in an adaptation of several Japanese anime television series from Toei Animation, that aired 1984-1985. 

The first season featuring the "Lion Force Voltron", was adapted from the series "Beast King GoLion". The second season, featuring the "Vehicle Team Voltron", was adapted from the series "Armored Fleet Dairugger XV". 

"Voltron: Defender of the Universe" is also noted as the top-rated syndicated children's series for two years during its original run, spawning three follow-up series, several comic book titles and a line of collectable toys.
