“Hellhunters” and ‘Ghost Rider ‘44’


Marvel Comics new ‘World War II’ title “Hellhunters” #1, now available, is written by Phillip Kennedy Johnson and illustrated by Adam Gorham, with ‘Sgt. Fury’ and ‘Wolverine’ fighting alongside new Marvel superhero ‘’Ghost Rider ‘44’:

Marvel Comics first 
supernatural 'Ghost Rider' is stunt motorcyclist 'Johnny Blaze', who, to save the life of his father, agrees to give his soul to the demon 'Mephisto'. 


"At night and when confronted by evil, Blaze finds his flesh consumed by 'hellfire', causing his head to become a flaming skull. He rides a fiery motorcycle and wields blasts of hellfire from his body, usually from his skeletal hands.” 

Subsequent 'Ghost Rider' series featured 'Danny Ketch' as a new Ghost Rider. After his sister was injured by ninja gangsters, Ketch comes in contact with a motorcycle that contains the essence of  the 'Spirit of Vengeance'.

 
Actor 'Nicolas Cage' starred as the 'Johnny Blaze' incarnation in the 2007 feature “Ghost Rider" and its 2012 sequel, "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance". 


Gabriel Luna and Tom McComas also portrayed 'Robbie Reyes' and 'Johnny Blaze' incarnations...


...in the fourth season of ABC's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."
