"Wild Cards" on Peacock

“Game of Thrones” author George R.R. Martin's Marvel Comics title, "Wild Cards: Drawing of Cards" adapting his “Wild Cards” anthology books, is the first step towards development of a new live-action TV series for streaming on Peacock:

“….set in an alternate post-World War II history, where Earth is home to super-powered individuals…

“… a human becomes infected with the alien ‘Wild Card’ virus. Of those that survive, they become known as ‘jokers, left with a strangely mutated form. 

“A lucky few are the ‘aces’,  gifted with superpowers they can put to use towards either heroic or evil goals…”
