Cancel Culture: "American Gigolo"

The new drama series "American Gigolo", developed by David Hollander, based on the 1980 feature written, directed by Paul Schrader, starring Jon Bernthal as 'Julian Kaye', with Gretchen Mol, Lizzie Brocheré, Gabriel LaBelle and Leland Orser, has been canceled after one season on Showtime:

"...'Julian Kaye', 15 years after being wrongfully arrested for murder and struggling to find his footing in modern-day Los Angeles, seeks the truth about the frame up that sent him to prison, until he can reconnect with his love, 'Michelle'..."
