“Metal Men” Movie

Animators Ron Clements and John Musker ("Aladdin") will take on DC Comics' "Metal Men" as an animated feature for Warner Animation starring the synthetic, malleable robots 'Gold', 'Iron', 'Lead', 'Mercury', 'Tin' and 'Platinum':

"Metal Men" debuted in DC Comics' "Showcase" #37, created by writer Robert Kanigher and illustrator Ross Andru, introduced as advanced artificially intelligent robots, created by scientist 'Dr. William "Will" Magnus'.

The six robots were field leader 'Gold', strong man 'Iron', slow-witted and loyal 'Lead', hot-headed 'Mercury', self-doubting and insecure 'Tin' and 'Platinum', aka 'Tina' who believed she was a real woman and in love with her creator.
