Following the success of director Peter Jackson's "The Beatles: Get Back" 3-part doc series streaming on Disney+, IMAX will screen 'The Beatles' notorious January 30, 1969 rooftop concert at Savile Row, Mayfair, London, as a digitally remastered 60-minute 'IMAX Theaters Event', January 30, 2022:
"I'm thrilled the rooftop concert from 'The Beatles: Get Back' is going to be experienced in 'IMAX', on that huge screen", said Jackson. "It's 'The Beatles' last concert and the absolute perfect way to see and hear it."
The rooftop concert, featured in "The Beatles: Get Back' doc, will be optimized for IMAX screens presented by The Walt Disney Studios in association with Apple Corps Ltd. and WingNut Films Productions Ltd., starring John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr in their last live performance.
