"Monster High" Live-Action


According to VancouverFilm.Net, after more than 10 years, Mattel has started production on a live-action "Monster High" TV movie musical, based on the first original toy franchise for the company since "Hot Wheels" in 1968, that featured collectible dolls packaged as the children of famous monsters including 'Draculaura', 'Frankie Stein', 'Clawdeen Wolf', 'Cleo de Nile and 'Lagoona Blue', debuting in 2022 on Nickleodeon:

"...'Clawdeen Wolf', born half human and half werewolf, arrives at her new school, 'Monster High'. She quickly makes friends with her classmates 'Frankie Stein' and 'Draculaura' and for the first time in her life, Clawdeen feels like she has finally found a place where she fits in and can truly be herself, despite keeping her human half a secret. 

"When a devious plan to destroy Monster High threatens to reveal her real identity, Clawdeen must learn to embrace her true feelings and find a way to save the day..."


The "Monster High" Fashion Line doll series, was created by writer Garrett Sander and illustrator Kellee Riley.
 

The toy brand, first introduced July 2010, includes a wide range of merchandise and entertainment.


Products range from "Monster High"-branded clothing, cosmetics, jewelry, dolls, a music video, the 2011 video game "Monster High: Ghoul Spirit", online webisode series, dedicated YouTube channel, a "Monster High" book for teens by author Lisi Harrison and Nickelodeon CG-animated TV specials.
